The Summer Marathon is a low key race, from Phoenix Running, along the side of the River Thames.
Summer Half Marathon Route
Runners follow a multi-lap course from Walton-on-Thames towards Hampton Court, and back. Four laps are needed to achieve a half marathon distance.
The terrain is riverside towpath. With no elevation, the course is flat and fast, making it ideal for runners chasing a PB.
