Boasting to be the biggest road race in Wales, the Cardiff Half Marathon welcomes
thousands of runners to the Welsh capital every year. The route is popular with runners,
being flat and fast. Would-be participants are recommended to
apply early as this race is sure to sell out.
Cardiff Half Marathon Route
It's flat and fast, making it a perfect opportunity to achieve your personal best!
Starting outside Cardiff Castle, the race takes runners through stunning
scenery and past historic and other impressive buildings including Penarth Marina,
the Norwegian Church and Wales Millennium Centre. Runners cross the finish line
at the Civic Centre, back in the centre of the city.

* Registration Deadline : The 2027 ballot opens 1 October and closes at midnight on 18 October.
* Results will be announced on Thursday 22 October.
