The Great Scottish Run is an extremely popular road race, proudly declaring to be Scotland's largest mass participation sporting event in 2010, attracting a record-breaking participation of 23,386 runners.

Great Scottish Run Route
Starting at Glasgow's George Square, the Great Scottish Run follows a mainly flat, fast route from Glasgow's city centre. It heads towards scenic Bellahousten Park and Pollok Park before turning back towards the city centre and finishing at Glasgow Green.
