The Southport Half Marathon is a flat, coastal race, organised by Fylde Coast Runners.
There is also the Southport 10K taking place at the same time.
Southport Half Marathon Route
Runners follow a coastal route along the scenic waterfront, as well as taking in Lord Street and albert Road.
It is prdominantly flat, offering the possibility of some fast race times.
