The Shanes Castle Half Marathon is part of a running event organised by We Run Wild NI. It also includes
a 10K race and a full marathon.

Run wholly withing the Shanes Castle estate, runners enjoy a pictureque, traffic-free route,
considered ideal for those chasing a PB. Fans of Game of Thrones will notice the course
taking them through various filming locations used during the making of the popular TV series.
