The Remembrance Day Half Marathon has been organised to remember and respect fallen and injured soldiers.
A notable part of the event is a 'race freeze' when everyone stops running at 11:00, for 2 minutes silence, before continuing their race
at 11:02. There is also a Remembrance Day Marathon.
Remembrance Day Half Marathon Route
Runners follow a trail course along the Thames riverside towpath. There will be 2 out and back laps along a flat and fast route.
