The Offa's 'Orror is organised by the Chepstow Running Club and was born out of the Chepstow Half Marathon.
Offa's 'Orror Route
Offa's 'Orror is a 20k multi-terrain race in the Wye Valley. It is a challenging race, run mainly on footpaths and forest trails.
The race starts from McKensie Hall Brockweir. Almost immediately runners face a steady climb, leading up along forest tracks leads to Offa's Dyke the route of which runners that they follow for about four miles. After refreshment runners head uphill to the old oak woods of the Hudnalls Common before a well-earned descent down towards the River Wye at Bigsweir. From there the race is flat, following the river towards Tintern via Brockweir and the old railway bridge finishing atthe Anchor Inn.
