The Newcastle Way Half Marathon is organised by WERUNWILDNI, who also organise other
running events, including the Carrickfergus Midnight Half Marathon.
Newcastle Way Half Marathon Route
Runners start in Newcastle at the visitor Centre. They follow a trail route through the Tollymore Forest and Castlewellan Forest,
returning to Newcastle via Murlough and along the beach. The course is mixed-terrain with a mix of forest tracks, small sections of
rural road, rural lanes and a little bit of sand.
