The Manchester Half Marathon is organised by Xtra Mile Events. It ia a fully-closed
road race through the city of Manchester.
Manchester Half Marathon Route
The course is described by the organisers as "one of the flattest and fastest around"
with "only 41m of elevation gain". Runners start at the A56 Bridgewater Way, near the
event village at Emirates Old Trafford, Lancashire County Cricket Club. They finish close to the
start area on Talbot Road, outside Lancashire Cricket Club.
