The Magna Carta Summer Half Marathon is run in Runnymede, near the site where the treaty of Magna Carta was agreed.
There is also a Magna Carta Summer Marathon and a 10K race.
Magna Carta Summer Half Marathon Route
The race takes place in scenic Runnymede, starting on the Thames Path trail beside the Wraysbury Skiff & Boating Club.
Runners follow an out and back 2.5 mile loop to Staines Bridge and back, followed by two out and back 5.3 mile loops via
the Old Windsor Lock.
