The Kielder Half Marathon is organised by Events of the North. It was first run in 2015, and is now a regular annual fixture.
Kielder Half Marathon Route
The race starts on Kielder Water's spectacular Dam providing an inspiring backdrop for the event. From there runners head
in to the forest on the North Shore, along the forestry road that winds away from the Dam for approximately 3 miles
before joining the Lakeside Way. From this point the course leads back across the dam and on to Leaplish Visitor Park and the finish line.
