The Islay Half Marathon was first run in 1986. Organisers justifiably claim that
it is one of the most scenic races that you'll ever run.
Islay Half Marathon Route
The race takes place in Bowmore, Islay. Runners follow a single loop course, out to Islay Airport, and back to Bowmore. The route is undulating, flattening towards the end of race.
