The Independence Day Half Marathon celebrates American Independence. It is the half marathon option of the Independence Day event,
which also includes a Marathon and 7 mile race. As is the aim of organisers, How Hard Can it be Events, this event is much smaller and friendlier than most.
Independence Day Half Marathon Route
Starting from the local village hall, runners follow a course of varying terrain through Coalport in Telford. The route
is a mixture of paths and tracks, taking in part of the Silkin Way, Rough Park and the Valley of Ironbridge.
