The Hitchin Half Marathon, sometimes called the 'Hitchin Hard Half Marathon' is a challenging race.
Hitchin Half Marathon Route
The route is out and back, hilly race, starting and finishing at Hitchin Priory. Runners pass Brick Kiln Lane and Charlton Road
on the way to Preston, looping around Preston hills and returning via Maydencroft Lane.
Except for a short stretch of grass at the start and finish but the majority of the race is run on tarmac.
