Old Mother Shipton's Shuffle is organised by It's Grim Up North Running. It is a running event
including several races - 10k, half marathon, 20 miles, marathon and ultra. All runners are rewared with
a post-race beer.
Old Mother Shipton's Shuffle Half Marathon Route
The race starts from opposite Mother Shipton Cave, in the centre of Knaresborough. From there runners follow
an undulating course run mainly on good path, private road and disused railway track. There is also a bief
150 yard section throigh a field (which can be very muddy).
