The Great West Run was first run in 1985. It was originally run as a marathon, but in recent years
has been run as a half marathon and become a popular regional event.
Great West Run Route
The race follows a one-lap course passing through the centre of Exeter, along country lanes
and finishing at the Exeter Arena.
