The Great Cumbrian Run is a popular race in Cumbria, raising funds for local and
national charities.
Great Cumbrian Run Route
The race can be described as a town and rural road race. Runners follow a single undulating lap, starting and finishing at
The Sheepmount Athletics Stadium. The route heads out of town into the surrounding countryside and back into the town, passing
significant local sites including the iconic Carlisle Castle and the Cenotaph in Rickerby Park.
