The Eyam Half Marathon, sometimes known as the 'Rat Race', was first run in 1993.
It is now a popular annual event, raising funds for local charities.
Eyam Half Marathon Route
Starting and finishing in Eyam, runners follow a one lap, hilly course through the surrounding countryside.
With over 1,200 ft ascent, it is unlikely to result in many PBs. However, the scenery is quite stunning,
making for a memorable event.
