The 3 Beaches Half Marathon takes place on the scenic Hebrides island of Benbecula.
It is open to individual runners and pairs. With limited places available, it is sure to sell out.
3 Beaches Half Marathon Route
Runners follow a multi-terrain route, starting on machair land behind the Dark Island Hotel at the Wind Turbine.
The course heads out onto the beach going North towards "Stinky Bay", so-named because of the fresh smell of seaweed.
After 8 miles of beach, the course changes to tarmac just after the Culla Bay. It it here that the pairs change runner before
continuing for the final 5 miles back to the Dark Island Hotel.
