The Bath Half Marathon is one of the longest running and most popular city centre road races in Britain.
It is also one of the most successful charity events in the South West of England, typically raising over £1 million.
As well as the 'Bath Half' there is a Family Fun Run.
Bath Half Marathon Route
The route is predominantly flat with some undulating sections.
The 'Bath Half' is a two-lap race starting and finishing in Great Pulteney Street. This street, one of the widest Georgian boulevards in Europe,
spans 46 feet preventing any overcrowding at the start. From there, the course winds through the heart of the city
straddling both sides of the river Avon on the way to the finish line.
