The Barrathon Half Marathon was the name used to describe the Isle of Barra Half Marathon.
Other races taking place were a 4K Fun Run and a 1.2K Junior Fun Run. Unfortunately, the event has been dissolved.
Barrathon Half Marathon Route
The Barrathon route is challenging. The race runs clockwise around the island,
following an undulating/hilly course, going from the lowest point at sea level to
up to just under 350 ft. The route starts and finishes in Castlebay.
