The Aviemore Half Marathon a spectacularly scenic race. It is run in support of
the Speyside Trust Badaguish Centre by Aviemore. There is also a 10K race.
Aviemore Half Marathon Route
The Aviemore Half Marathon is multi-terrain point-to-point flat/undulating race with spectacular scenery.
It starts on roads, heading along superb forest tracks with the Cairngorm Mountains in the distance, then
round a section of the stunning Loch Morlich, before briefly heading along the logging trail that
leads across the River Luineag.
From there runners continue along shoreside trails, on to a short section up the ski road, leading to
a stunning hill section above the loch. They then rejoin forest tracks, heading back to Badaguish.
