The Alloa Half Marathon is organised by the Alloa Round Table.
It was first run in 1983.
Alloa Half Marathon Route
Starting and finishing at Lornshill Academy, runners follow a scenic course with long flat stretches
along the foot of the Ochil Hills. It is otherwise undulating with one challenging hill at the 11 mile mark.
As suggested by the course record of 64:51 a PB time should be possible for some runners.
